European
Central Counterparty (EuroCCP)
is the European
subsidiary of The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) clears
for Turquoise, SmartPool and NYSE Arca Europe, and is in active talks
with other platforms. EuroCCP clears and settles trades in partnership
with Citi Global Transaction Services, who acts as EuroCCP's settlement
agent, in 15 major national markets in Europe currently, including
Austria, Belgium, France, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Finland,
Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Sweden and
Spain. Trades are handled in seven different currencies: the Euro,
British Pound, U.S. Dollar, Swiss Franc, Danish Krone, Swedish Krona,
and Norwegian Krone.
